About these terms
This website is run by Steady Dog Co., a dog training business in Brisbane, Queensland. Steady Dog Co. is a business name of Metaform Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 42 688 579 464. By using it, you agree to these terms. Our programs have their own written agreement, which you see and sign before you enrol. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies.
What the information on this site is
The pages describe our services and how we work. They are general information, not advice about your dog. Every dog is different, and we only recommend anything for yours after we've met it at the assessment. Nothing here is veterinary advice: if your dog's behaviour changed suddenly, or it might be in pain, see your vet first.
What we promise, and what we don't
We promise what we control: an honest assessment, a written plan, careful work with your dog, teaching everyone at home, and support during and after your program, as set out in your agreement. We don't promise a particular result, because how a dog goes depends on the dog and on what happens at home between sessions. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of an outcome.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including that our services will be provided with due care and skill, can't be excluded, and nothing in these terms tries to.
Prices
Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total you pay, including GST. The assessment fee and what comes off your program are explained on the Programs page. The exact price for your dog is confirmed in writing before you enrol. If a price on this site is wrong because of an obvious error, we'll tell you before you pay, and you don't have to go ahead.
Applying
Sending the application form asks us to contact you about your dog. It doesn't create a booking or a contract. You agree to us contacting you about your enquiry by phone, text and email for up to 12 months, and you can ask us to stop at any time. How we handle your details is in our privacy policy.
Photos, video and testimonials
We only show dogs and owners on this site with their written consent. Testimonials are real owners' own words, shared with their permission and unchanged except for length. They describe one dog's experience, not what every dog will achieve.
Our content
The words, logo, photos, video and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You're welcome to share links to our pages. Please don't copy our content for commercial use without asking us first.
Other websites
Links to other websites are there because we think they're useful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Using this site
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain an error. Please tell us if you find one. Apart from the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, we aren't responsible for loss caused by relying on the general information on this site instead of advice about your own dog.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
